I’m nervous about Magical Shrinking being published. I’ve really made myself vulnerable with this book. Only one person has completed it and let me know what they think. It’s a completely different experience than No Guarantees. I did all of the editing and proofreading myself. I had help with the cover and formatting. It isn’t that the stories weren’t read by people, but not as a complete work.
I’ve had to read the book at least 12 times in order to proofread, and I practically know it by heart. There are still about 15 errors I’ve spotted that’ll be in the final edition. Which is unfortunate, but can be fixed in another edition.
I have a document of favorite passages and paragraphs. I may share some on here. We’ll see. It might not make sense to post things out of context.
So much work has been poured into the book. A million tears have been shed. By next week it’ll be available for purchase. It’s scary. No one can understand exactly how much I’ve put myself out there until they read it. I hope it doesn’t suck!
